徐汇区的衡山路，是上海最具风情的街区之一，以其独特的建筑风格而闻名。这里有许多历史悠久的老洋房和别墅，展现了上海的历史和文化底蕴。

Hengshan Road is the most humanistic street in Shanghai, and now many creative institutions gather on it;

紧邻衡山路，有一个网红时尚艺术街区，名为“THE WEAVE吴界”。这里曾经是上海第九丝织厂的所在地，这家工厂曾为旧时上海纺织工业做出过重大贡献。作为上海的一个历史工业区，吴界保留了许多工业建筑和设施，展现了过去的辉煌和工业发展的历史。

为了推动上海工业园区的复兴，吴界在2022年进行了改造，打造成一个集艺术、创意、时尚和工业文化于一体的独特街区，成为上海工业园区复兴的示范项目。这里聚集了众多创意型机构，展示各种艺术形式和文化活动。

在这众多的创意机构中，建筑设计公司“Fang Studio”以其独特的办公空间设计，向到访者传达他们在城市更新改造中对“极简”“更新”的理解。

项目位于吴兴路277号705室，建筑面积共203平方米，分为上下两层，建筑内部沧桑的楼板梁柱诉说着过去辉煌的历史。

This is an office space design for an architectural design firm, located in the most charming area of Shanghai, near Hengshan Road, with an area of 203 square meters and two floors. The architectural design firm wanted to convey their understanding of \"Minimalism\" and \"Renovation\" through the design of this space.

通过本次改造，公司希望在保留历史价值的同时，注入现代设计和创意元素，让空间焕发出新的生机和活力，助力上海工业园区的发展和复兴。

设计之初 Before Designing

现代建筑学已经发展的非常多元化，也呈现了很多思想。然而一直以来，有个问题困扰着所有建筑师：设计的本质是什么？

At the beginning of the design process, the designers pondered a question that has always plagued all architects: what is the essence of design?

原研哉认为“设计是一种捕捉事物本质的感觉能力”，那么这种感觉能力一定是强烈并且干净的。

密斯·凡·德罗提出“LESS IS MORE”，强调通过简化和精炼设计，去除冗余的元素，使设计更加纯粹、清晰和有效。

基于这种设计理念，设计师不仅仅是创造一个办公空间，更要通过这个城市更新改造项目表达其对新旧融合的思考，对“过度”设计和“炫技”“炫材”手法的反思，通过对工业园区的改造创造一个舒适、宜居的办公空间。

项目实践 Project Presentation

“LESS IS LESS”追求简约和实用。围绕这一理念，设计师进行了一系列的尝试，通过简化和精炼设计，使空间更加简洁、易于理解和使用。

\"LESS IS LESS\" is to return design to its functional nature, without redundant design;

设计师将功能性构件做出建筑学的体量美感：通过钢板将上下楼层的楼梯形成一个嵌入的“黑盒”，创造出具有美感和视觉冲击力的视觉效果，与周围的室内空间形成鲜明的对比。楼梯下方的格子空间进一步增加了空间的层次感和灰度变化。同时，钢板的材质和形态也赋予其现代感和工业风格，增加了时尚感和个性化。

The functional elements make an architectural volume aesthetic; The staircase to the upper and lower floors forms a \"black box\" embedded by steel plates.

设计师选择裸露原空间顶部预制板，以及局部墙面的混凝土材质，保留了原建筑的工业记忆。通过展示建筑的原始材料和结构，创造出具有工业美感和历史痕迹的空间效果。

在“LESS IS LESS”的理念指导下，设计师在办公室的各个空间精心布置了一系列工艺设计作品，如企业名称LOGO、雕塑、桌牌等，创造出简洁而有品味的办公环境，增添了艺术氛围。

简洁而精致的LOGO设计，放置在办公室的显眼位置，以展示企业的品牌形象和价值观。独特而简洁的桌牌，与办公室的整体设计风格相协调。
